A trip to Paris with two little girls is not complete without a visit to Angelina. After lunch we had their famous velvety, rich hot chocolate. Yum!!!!

Barbe a Papa
My French is pretty basic-I can get around and order in restaurants (most of the time!). When we were at the Luxembourg Gardens I saw a sign for Barbe a Papa-I thought it must be some kind of snack for the fathers. No, no. It is cotton candy. The translation is "beard of the father." How cute! The girls loved Barbe a Papa and wanted it every time they were at Luxembourg Gardens. I have to say I love the sugary sweetness and that crunch when you take a bite. Unfortunately, the girls were not sharing. Probably best for my waistline!

Off to Paris
The girls declared that they loved London. I think their favorite thing was St. James Park and chasing the giant pelican. They also loved the food-we ate at Wagamama twice. K could not get enough of the dumplings! But after a week it was time to head to Paris. There was a tube strike going on the morning we left but we made it to the train station with no problem. We took Eurostar to Paris-the girls colored for a little bit and then fell asleep. When they woke up they were in Paris. I love the picture of K sleeping with her head in Oliva's lap. How cute!
