Proud and Honored

I was very honored when our neighbor, James, asked me to be his sponsor for his confirmation. I am so pleased to have the honor of being chosen as witness to his initiation into a full Christian life.

I was also so proud of K this weekend. She played in her first piano recital and did a wonderful job. She was a little nervous but it didn't show at all.

Our little cat, Trouble, riding home from the vet. I love how his little paws are hanging over the edge of the seat. The sweet little guy has some kidney issues. He is 17 so I spend as much time as possible every day enjoying his cute little personality.

Cousins

K loves getting together with cousins. Actually these guys are my cousins kids so I don't know what that makes them to us but we just call them our cousins.  Ben on the left was in town from Austin where he is in graduate school at UT getting a degree in something I cannot pronounce.  Bill is about to finish his masters at Emory and then planning to go to law school.  I cannot believe his two years in Atlanta are almost over.  So glad he has a girlfriend here so we know he will be coming back to visit.  We all had dinner at Anis-yum!
